As you probably know, there’s a Resident Evil series being developed by Netflix. We recently learned that filming would start in June and run through October and that the first season would consist of eight one-hour episodes.
According to Netflix’ own description, which got leaked and taken down again, the series will take place in the town of Clearfield, MD, 26 years after the discovery of the T-virus, and involve Umbrella Corporation, a decommissioned asylum and Washington, D.C.
We Got This Covered recently learned from its own sources that a second Resident Evil show is also being developed at Netflix, and that they want Milla Jovovich to return as Alice.
According to WGTC, the two projects will exist independently from each other, and while the first series will follow an original plotline, the second one will pick up where the movies left off.
